Tsurumi LB (Automatic) Submersible Water Pumps

For automatic control of water levels, the LB480 and LB800 models from Stuart Pumps are available with sensor and float switches:

Sensor Switch: This switch features two 304 stainless steel probes encapsulated in molded rubber, ideal for portable applications. Its compact design and precise water level control make it suitable for fixed installations and narrow or shallow sumps. The pump starts when both probes touch water and continues to operate for one minute after the water level drops. If water contacts both probes again within this time, the pump continues pumping for another minute, maintaining the water level below the probes. The off level can be as low as 20mm, depending on the sump size. Probes can be extended by 70mm or 170mm with optional extensions for a lower “on” and “off” level.

Pendant Float-Switch: This switch has a power cable connected to a waterproof case containing a ball bearing actuated switch, designed for both portable and fixed installations. The cable is clamped to the pump, allowing minor adjustments to alter the “on” and “off” levels.

AGMA Float-Switch: Featuring a switch actuated by a floating cylinder housed within a tube, this compact switch provides fixed “on” and “off” levels for precise control. It is intended for narrow sumps and fixed installations.
